The Pythagorean Theorem plays main role in tsunami style menu on the Mac

It's easy to create the tsunami style menu on the Mac using the Pythagorean Theorem.



This looks more complicated than it is. There are really only two things going on:

1. affecting the size of the icons based on the distance between the cursor and the icon, which the Pythagorean Theorem helps find;

2. maintaining the space between icons affected by changing width.

Is there a way to create multiple menus? I want a few rows of these with varying numbers of icons in each. It's driving me nuts. Please help
